VACAY SITTERS (PTY) LTD: REFUND POLICY

Overview

1. General Policy for House and Pet Sitting Services:

Cancellation 14 Days or More Before Service:
- Clients may cancel their booking more than 14 days before the scheduled start date and receive a 100% refund of the service fee.
Cancellation Between 7 to 14 Days Before Service:
- For cancellations made between 7 to 14 days before the start date, clients will receive a 50% refund of the service fee.
Cancellation Within 7 Days of Service:
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled start date will result in no refund.
Cancellation Within 24 Hours of Service:
- Any cancellation made within 24 hours before the service starts may incur a cancellation fee as specified in our Terms & Conditions.

2. Refund Process:

All refund requests must be submitted via the Vacay Sitters app or website.
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 10 business days.

3. Exceptional Circumstances:

If Vacay Sitters must cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, clients will be offered either a full refund or an option to reschedule at no additional cost.

4. Force Majeure:

In events beyond our control, such as natural disasters or other force majeure events, Vacay Sitters may offer rescheduling options without additional costs. Refunds in such cases will be at the discretion of the management.

5. Legal Compliance:

Vacay Sitters adheres to all applicable South African consumer protection laws and industry standards, ensuring fair treatment of both clients and service providers.
