Where It All Started
Our journey began many moons ago as a mere seed. The founders were sitters, just like those on the Vacay platform. Over time, they became pet owners and recognized the need for a community that could connect quickly and safely.
The seed sprouted into action when the founders left to hike Amatola in October 2023, only to have their sitter cancel at the last minute. Stranded with nobody to care for their fur baby and not enough time to find a new sitter, they realized the urgency of their mission. By February 2024, that seed had grown into a tree, now tall enough to support the community.

Meet Dhiraj, the fearless adventurer, visionary leader, and co-founder of Vacay Sitters. Born and raised in India, Dhiraj thrives on challenges, whether in business or on the mountains he loves to climb. His energy is contagious, his vision bold, and his determination unmatched. When he’s not scaling new heights in tech, he’s out exploring trails, pushing boundaries, or spending time with his cat, who, for the record, doesn’t like him. With his drive, passion for growth, and unwavering belief in the journey ahead, Dhiraj leads the team with ambition and heart.
Sameeksha Rai
Introducing Sameeksha, Our Senior Engineer and passionate tech enthusiast with over four years of experience crafting intuitive, high-performance apps. From IoT solutions to e-commerce platforms, she specializes in delivering seamless user experiences, always refining every detail and ensuring clean, efficient code. Sameeksha thrives on solving complex challenges and transforming innovative ideas into reality. Outside of work, she’s under the command of her German Shepherd, who rules the house with unmatched wit, outsmarts her at every turn, and somehow convinces her to share every meal.

He specializes in crafting both static and e-commerce websites that are as functional as they are visually striking. She finds beauty in the smallest moments and solutions in every challenge. When she’s not behind the scenes crafting something brilliant, she’s out on the trails, connecting with the world around her. She also has an uncanny ability to befriend every stray animal she meets, much to Dhiraj’s cat’s dismay. With her optimism, creativity, and deep love for animals, Bianca brings warmth, vision, and innovation to everything she touches.
